About Katnack Consulting

Steve Katnack

Steve’s 20-year career in IT planning and technology support has taken him from Boston to San Diego and, now, to Durham. When asked what drew him here, he answers: “People rely on small business and nonprofit services every day. The booming Triangle economy means that these organizations have the unique opportunity to develop new ways to serve their clients. I want to help make that possible.”

While Steve works with a range of small business and service organizations, he focuses upon a single goal: “I provide my clients with manageable, cost-effective IT services and solutions without the technical jargon.” Prior to launching Katnack Consulting in 2009, he managed IT services for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, the Picker Institute, Arthur D. Little Consulting, Boston’s United South End Settlements and created the San Diego Futures Foundation’s IT Consulting Group. He also holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Boston University.

In addition to helping his clients meet their missions, Steve enjoys being outdoors, whether it is hiking, camping or biking the American Tobacco Trail. He’s looking forward to this year’s line-up at DPAC and, of course, gets to a Durham Bulls game whenever possible.
